Meet Bill Carey

Practicing real estate nights and weekends soon turned full time but the past role in marketing gave me a leg up on others when it comes to understanding and executing in the new world of digital/social media.   I am unique in what I bring to the role of broker/agent.  The real estate combined with the marketing skills brings exceptional expertise in representing your interests in a property sale or purchase.  Over the years Real Estate has taken me across many experiences from the role of developer of an 11 lot subdivision, to home builder, home renovations, the many challenges of being a landlord and of course, sales broker/agent.  My love of the real estate industry has been and remains fueled by the many interesting and endless variety of properties, the reward of matching buyer and seller and the great people that I have come to know.  Never a dull moment as there are always unique and important considerations to be uncovered in any property for the benefit of every one of my clients be they buyer or seller.  Guiding my sellers as to what to do and what not to do to maximize the sale price and the resulting profit and also helping my buyers to get the best value possible without overpaying and without missing the opportunity and losing the deal to a competing bidder.  I joined up with the Emery Group with great enthusiasm due to several direct and always positive and professional experiences with owner/founder Deb Bailey.  Her own numerous experiences from her many years of representing buyers and sellers along with her role teaching and training for real estate institutes ensures our teams preparedness resulting in you getting the best representation and the best experience possible.  Emery Group and Boston Buyer Broker are a single tandem team that takes a direct interest in your needs as a buyer or seller and works one on one with you to deliver the best possible outcome and experience.

For over 30 years I have been a real estate broker and Realtor®.  I’ve also been married for over 30 years and raised three boys.  Though always on call for my clients, occasionally I will partake in a round of golf or join my sons on the boat, a hike in the mountains or a winter day of skiing.

Calculate you mortgage

Buyers – need to know the market! Sales prices, safe neighborhoods, school ratings, commuter access, tax rates, community services, etc.

Sellers – need to know the market! What have homes in my neighborhood sold for? Did the have comparable square footages, beds & baths, acreage, age built, renovations? What is my home worth based on today’s sales? Is my home zoned for alternate use? What about septic updates?

Rehab – need to know the market! How do I figure me after rehab value? How do I figure my construction & holding costs? What should my time frame be? How do I find properties?
